Great Scott! Watch New UK Trailer For Ridley Scott’s The Counsellor

What’s that bright light that blinding your eyes you ask? Fear not it’s the new star studded UK trailer for  The Cousellor, slip on your shades and enjoy unless you want to be in tears like Michael Fassbender.

Based on a script from The Road author Cormac McCarthy, The Counsellor centres on a attorney (Fassbender) who finds himself embroiled drugs trade in a dire need of cash. To get that cash he finds himself dealing with the lowest of the low including Reiner (Javier Bardem) who he must get rid of $20 million in cocaine.

The new trailer delves deeper into The Counsellor storyline probably the best glimpse of all the previous trailers, this looking a very darkly humoured but violent thriller. I’m sure some  people will say this echoes Breaking Bad, if it is might be the tonic fans of the tv show will embrace until at least their own favourite show get’s it’s own feature. As for femme fatales with a tattoo like Cameron Diaz she makes a potential one lady you don’t want to mess with!

The Counsellor is out in UK&Ireland on 15th November (25th October USA). The film also stars Brad Pitt, Dean Norris, Rosie Perez, John Leguizamo, Natalie Dormer, and Goran Višnjić.

Synopsis

The film tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender), who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.
