Good Food, Fine Ales, New Posters For The World’s End
The ‘Three Flavours Cornetto‘ Trilogy is about to reach it’s finale when Edgar Wright takes to a place that sells great food, fine ales and total annihilation it can only mean The World’s End!
With the arrival of the trailer imminent the traditional first poster has been unveiled and if you look at the poster it has all the relevant elements you need to know whats in store. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost in there third outing together (first since Hot Fuzz) on the front holding an ye olde English style pub sign with a great big hole in it we assume from those fiery in the background we assume are meteors and with loads of mean looking people with glowing eyes! ut all those elements together we can safely say The World’s End is a comedy about the end of the world meets invasion movie ala Invasion Of The Body Snatchers!

In The World’s End, 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
The World’s End Co-stars Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan.The film opens in the UK on 19 July 2013, with a US release on 23 August.
