I think today is the first day in a while I’ve actually stopped to see how close we are until THE DARK KNIGHT RISES arrives (I should have known been my birthday 5 days after the films release!), 6 weeks!!! Now Prometheus has landed it’s now over to the comic book superheros Spiderman and Batman to fight for the superhero topspot next month which at the moment The Dark Knight is winning by a landslide and probably more thanks to MTV. Last night on American television the MTV Movie awards was aired and Christopher Nolan on stage presented a sneek peak of Dark Knight Rises which at the same time saw the release of a 5th TV Spot for the film both crammed with new footage. What the MTV Trailer did was focus on Miss Selina Kyle better know to you and me as Catwoman a viewpoint which reveals she may have some of ‘relationship’ with Bane going on.The new trailer also gives Gotham City’s number one terrorist Bane a chance to show off new dialogue ‘let the games begin’ as Gotham city bridge explodes, we mustn’t forget Officer John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) trying to understand Miss Kyle and her cravings for cat bulglarly, meowww! A girl’s got to eat!

We’re all excited and raring to see this monster of a film, but the big burning question is, it might be Christopher Nolan’s final fling at the Batman myth but will it be the last time we’ll see the caped crusader on our big screens? Hopefully July 20th will answer that question. The Dark Kinght Rises stars Christian Bale,  Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman,Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt  and Michael Caine.
