Gary Oldman Leads Mi5 ‘Rejects’ In Slow Horses First Trailer

Top secret meets bottom of the barrel as Apple TV+ unveil the Official First Trailer for Slow Horses. Oscar winning Gary Oldman returns to the keenly anticipated espionage series dealing Mi5 so called ‘rejects’.
The drama thriller is based on the award-winning Mick Herron’s novels. Due to career ending mistakes, Jackson Lamb (Oldman) one time great finds himself at Slough House. The so called dumping ground those misfit agents which Lamb must unwillingly lead.
The trailer does a good job setting up ‘Slough House’ and Lamb addressing those newcomers that are failing. Fantastic cast, however the humour may not always what you would call ‘funny’.
“Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as ‘Jackson Lamb,’ the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.
The ensemble cast also includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Olivia Cooke, Saskia Reeves, Dustin Demri-Burns, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Paul Higgins, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Steve Waddington, Paul Hilton, Antonio Aakeel, Samuel West, and a special guest appearances by Academy Award-nominee Jonathan Pryce and Sophie Okonedo.
Slow Horses will consist of six episodes, with first two episodes when it will premiere globally on Apple TV+ from 1st April.
