The Gang Are Finally Together In First Marvel’s Defenders Trailer
They may not have the cinematic strength of the premiere league of Superheroes but the past few years Marvel’s Netflix band of superheroes have slowly built a monstrous presence online. Those 4 heroes Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Ironfist are finally coming together, you will know them as The Defenders and Netflix have released their trailer...
The past few years we’ve grown to love (or hate) them, watch them discover or learn to control their powers, felt their pain, rise from redemption. Now the foursome is coming together united for one common goal, to defender their neighbourhood, their hometown, New York City.
Marvel’s Defenders follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realise they just might be stronger when teamed together.
It’s been a long time coming and two years in the making (since we learned they would have a tv series), lots of binge watching but not long now until we’re rewarded. Off course it wouldn’t be a Marvel Netflix series without a hall fight scene (perfectly ripped straight out of Oldboy).
Things get kicked off when Jessica Jones is been interviewed by Misty Knight when she’s been interrogated for a break in. Step forward Matt Murdock using his Lawyer persona to get Jessica out of this mess, cue the rest of the Defenders.We can expect those known baddies from all the respective shows, plenty of ass-kickings and it seems Danny Rand might still be a little on the dumb side, it looks like the rest of the team are happy to put up with his dumbness for exchange for his glowing fist power.
