Fox Reveal Ben Hardy Is Angel In X-Men:Apocalypse,First Look At Uniform

Today we take another step closer to this Summer’s blockbuster season and tonight Twentieth Century Fox Pictures have sent us the news that Eastender’s star Ben Hardy will play Angel in X-Men:Apocalypse. Also have a first look at the first concept artwork for his uniform too!

Confirmed by the director himself Ben Hardy who for the last several years played Peter Beale son of Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) now meant  to be living in New Zealand. We now know where he really is and according to Empire Hardy has known for a while but like many things wasn’t allowed to talk about it until now.

Angel or Warren Worthington III was last seen in X-Men: Last Stand by Ben Foster and Angel’s role in X-men:Apocalypse is one of big importance. Apocalypse (to be played by Oscar Isaac) an all powerful super mutant  who transforms Angel into Archangel aka one of his genetically modified horseman. His blonde blue eyed warrior who has wings with feathers like knives and from the image below  you can see those knives.

In X-Men:Apocalypse, since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Ben Hardy will be joined with more fresh faces with Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender are set to return with X-Men:Apocalypse set for a 19th May 2016 UK release date.
