First Look: Man of Steel

Warner Bros. released a look at their new “Man of Steel” with Henry Cavil, in action as Superman.

I say action but it looks more like he has just broken out from a safe.

What can be gather is that he sure looks pissed off and more in line with the evil Superman from Superman III.

Zach Snyder has also opted to use darker hues on the colors in Superman’s costume rather than the primary red and blues of previous outings with the texture being almost scale like.

It is representative of the dark tone Snyder is going for in general, I do hope Supes sorts out that bouffant though.

Synopsis | A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind

This one also stars Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Bruce Wayne, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Antje Traue.

Man Of Steel is set for a UK and Irish cinema release 13th June.
