Apple TV+ next month are giving K-pop fans a treat with the release of documentary series K-pop Idols. Today you get a taster in what’s to come with the official Trailer for the series

The 6 part series offers fans an unprecedented backstage pass to the world’s biggest musical phenomenon, with a behind-the-scenes look at the highly competitive reality of K-pop stardom, featuring beloved artists Jessi, Cravity and Blackswan.

‘K-Pop‘ or Korean Pop music has been around for a long time, so as J-Pop (Japanese) and Canto-Pop (Cantonese Pop). The Korean side of things predominately massive in South Korea, however the past few year became an phenomena that exploded globally including here in the UK. Mixing pop, hip-hop, R&B, electronic and recognised by it’s melodies and choreography.

Over the course of six episodes, the series follows the superstars through trials and triumphs, breaking down cultural and musical barriers in K-pop with passion, creativity and determination as they chase their dreams.

K-pop Idols is set to premiere on Apple TV+ globally from 30th August.
