Fate Changing New US Trailer For Pixar’s BRAVE
“If you had the chance to change your fate, would you?” It’s something many people wish they could do when they reflect on their lives, but majority of us if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be but for Merida she dreams that one day she can change her fate. Behold during the small hours of the morning thanks to Apple a third American trailer for this summer’s Pixar animated fairytale adventure BRAVE arrived online with an extra bonus of a short clip which gives us a nice better look at the film’s story.
The trailer is heavily focused on the film’s characters with Princess Merida (Kelly MacDonald) narrating telling us more about her family as well a another look at the gorgeous animated surroundings of the Scottish Highlands. There’s even a sneak glimpse at some of the action up for grabs along with the humour on offer too. If you love Merida’s little brothers or little devil’s as she calls you’ll enjoy the new clip ‘Eyes On The Pies’ which has Merida trying to show her brothers how to use a bow&arrow but boys been boys the smell of food or pies seem more tempting.
Been Scottish I’m really keen to see this one and its the footage we get from this film that really sells it but when you add Pixar to the equation that’s enough for some people, this looks sublime. August 17th Brave will arrive in UK&Ireland however on June 30th the film will make it’s European premiere in the Scottish capital when it closes 66th Edinburgh International Film Festival. Brave stars the voices of Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Robbie Coltrane along with Emma Thompson, Julie Walters make up this superb cast.
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In “Brave,” a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.
Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land:massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.
