An older woman lies on a bed with a younger woman holding her hand

Amongst the chaos, the love, the emotions, families will always be united like in Kate Winslet‘s Goodbye June. Next month Netflix will be releasing the British actor’s directorial feature debut and the family in this film will be ‘united’.

Christmas is meant to be the most wonderful time of the year for everyone, for others it can be emotional. Events can swings one way, fights another way always testing your mettle. The question is when the event is to do with health, how can you say goodbye.

Goodbye June takes place before Christmas and when the matriarch of the family health takes a drastic turn,ย  it pushes the family to think of life with their mother.

Kate Winslet who also stars in this will be under the spotlight andย  Goodbye June is a family affair as her son Joe Anders scripts this. The film itself shows the adult children interact with June (Helen Mirren) who bring in the grandkids. This look intimate stuff.

This also stars Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall. Along with Stephen Merchant, Fisayo Akinade, Jeremy Swift, and Raza Jaffrey.
