One thing many us may fear is our death and that one day we’ll be on a slab in a morgue. In Patrick Lussier’s horror Play Dead, One girls mission is to ‘play dead’ to get into a morgue. Ahead of it’s premiere on Icon Film Channel, we get a look at the UK Trailer.

Bailee Madison (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) stars along side Jerry O’Connell (Scream 2, Billions). She plays Chloe a criminology student who must fake her own death to get into a local morgue. For one reason, to find the one piece of evidence that ties her brother to a crime. She does have one other ‘small’ problem, the morgue’s coroner who has his own sadistic plans.

Strap in for a tense and terrifying new horror from director Patrick Lussier, the filmmaker behind My Bloody Valentine and Dracula 2000.

On a mission to save her brother from the consequences of a crime gone horribly wrong, criminology student Chloe fakes her own death to break into a morgue and steal evidence. But once inside, she soon learns that a sadistic coroner is using corpses for his sick and twisted business: selling body parts. When he discovers that Chloe is not dead, a terrifying game of cat-and-mouse ensues.

Starring Bailee Madison (Good Witch, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) and Jerry O’Connell (Scream 2, Billions), Play Dead is a fresh and original entry into the horror genre.

The film also stars Anthony Turpel, Chris Butler, Chris Lee and Jorge-Luis Pallo. Play Dead will first premiere on the Icon Film Channel from 13th February. Then the film is released in selected UK cinemas from 17th March. You can Own it on DVD and Digital from 17th April.
