I’ve just started recently following the stories on director Joe Wright’s HANNA which sees a 14 year old girl from Eastern Europeย  who is raised by her father to be a cold blooded assassin after been saved from a C.I.A training camp which basically breeds children to be killers. After coming to peace the girl finds solace with a French family before been drag back into the dark world of assassins again where he must save her again.

Hanna the assassin will be played by Saoirse Ronan who we will see soon in The Lovely Bones as Susie Salmon (Feb 19th UK & Ireland) and she also worked with Joe Wright on the movie Atonement. According to Heat Vision they are reporting that Eric Bana is in final negotiations to play Hanna’s father.

I have to say I am sort of fan of Ericย  and really liked him inMunich as well as Troy but he’s never seem to made it big style in hollywood. Always on the fringe playing the more darker and emotional characters but last summer in Funny Games with Adam Sadler he proved he can play funny parts. Hopefully this could be the movie that givesEric that extra push to bigger and less darker roles.
