“Less Emo, More Kit Off,” UK Trailer For Steven Soderbergh’s MAGIC MIKE

When the first trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s MAGIC MIKE was released it didn’t get off to the best of starts as it was ruined slightly by a Rihanna song and full of emotions. Been a male stripper flick there was bit of an outcry from female population looking for hunky men getting their kit of revealing, guess what girls we have a new trailer from UK and behold its less emo, more kit off!

Magic Mike  is loosely based on the early days of Channing Tatum when he was a Male stripper and his rise through the ranks however if you look closely at the plot of the film Alex Pettyfer  who is the young stripper attempting to ‘rise to the occasion’ with Tatum playing his mentor. After been absent from the first trailer Pettyfer now in the limelight which gives the film a more solid look rather than the mediocre generic romantic drama we got previously. It looks a crazy fun flick which the ladies may embrace more than the men but I’m sure deep down some will like this, but for the integrity of the film we’ll do our bit to review it when the time comes!

Magic Mike could be the film which could get Pettyfer a better footing in Hollywood as his first steps into tinseltown haven’t been perfect with Beastly, I Am Number Four, In Time 3 forgettable films. Variety is also reporting the young British actor is to lead Diamond Dogs  film to be directed by Heartbreakers director Pascal Chaumeil with Pettyfer playing an College American Football player  who accidentally kills someone. Ironically this event is life changing event and he is the son of the local sheriff who attempts to cover up the whole event, no casting or exactly when this project will kick off so stay tuned for updates.
