Embrace The Madness In The New Hannibal Season 2 Trailer

It’s times to prepare the second course and embrace the madness as Dr Hannibal Lecter is ready for his second helping, enjoy the first trailer for Hannibal Season 2.

Iv’e not personally seen season despite not even been on Sky Atlantic which most new American TV Shows seem to be in UK (if their not on Fox UK), but what we heard from the grapevine it surprised many. Surprisingly it compliments its film origins nicely , dark, surreal and really goes to town on the relationship between the doctor (Mads Mikkelsen) and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) like it was ripped right out of the pages of Red Dragon.

After months of suspicion at the end of Season one Dr. Lecter revealed his true colours when he framed Will for the murders the pair investigated in season one, murders we know Will didn’t commit. As we watch the new trailer we see Will still behind bars wondering how he can convince everyone Lecter is the real monster not him and control that urge.

Raul Esparza, Gillian Anderson, Eddie Izzard are all confirmed to return for season 2 of Hannibal with Cynthia Dixon (Sex In The City) and Martin Donavan joining the cast. Boardwalk Empire’s Michael Pitt is also apparently joining as Mason Verger who was played in Hannibal movie by Gary Oldman, let’s hope he remembers his character came to a gruesome end!
