Head To Eden In First Trailer For Ron Howard’s Island-Set Thriller
Vertical has released the first English-language teaser trailer for their upcoming thriller Eden, which you can watch below!
The film premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. (via The Playlist) and is now set for a US release later this Summer.
Directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code) and written by Noah Pink (who co-wrote the story with Howard), the film stars Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney, and Daniel Brühl and the film tells the story of a “famous true crime case known as The Galapagos Affair, in which seven Germans and Austrians relocated to the tiny, remote island of Floreana, in Ecuador’s Galápagos Archipelago, off the west coast of South America, in the Pacific Ocean, in the 1930s. Those events led to two dead and two others missing, which comes off as quite a perplexing story to unfold in dramatic fashion and in such a beautiful setting.”

As tensions spiral and desperation takes hold, a twisted power struggle unfolds, leading to betrayal, violence, and the deaths of half the colony.”
