Eddie Murphy Is Again Axel Foley In First Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F Trailer

2024 is about to get nostalgic when Eddie Murphy is once again the iconic Axel Foley. Today Netflix tease things with the release of the first trailer for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.

Love or hate him, Axel Foley is one of the many characters that made Murphy a big thing in the 1980’s. It will be 40 years since Beverly Hills Cop which also spawned two sequels with the last one coming 30 years ago in 1994. Just like any returning film or series, is the old magic still there? Only time will answer that one he won’t be alone on that journey. Judge Reinhold and John Ashton are also stet to return as Billy Rosewood and John Taggart.

This has been in the works for thirty years, Beverly Hills Cop 4 sees Detective Foley back on the beat. His daughter’s life life is threatened, with the help of a new partner and some old friends they set to uncover what might be a conspiracy.

Streaming services Netflix and Prime Video have helped Eddie Murphy back onto movie map. Maybe not always in the positive, this might be one time returning to a popular character things look good. The overall reaction of this trailer has been good, what do you think?

Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.

The film also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Kevin Bacon.

Beverly Hill Cop: Axel F doesn’t have an exact release date yet. Netflix are stating the film will stream globally ‘Summer 2024‘.
