Back in 2023 I was lucky to visit Tokyo, Japan and actually walked those corridors of the station. It’s an indescribable experience, not just the language barrier also nightmare of getting lost.

Robert Ewing watch the film at BFI London Film Festival late last year and loved it. He described it “Exit 8 is nothing short of magical, taking the simplest game and elevating it to unimaginable heights. It’s a profound exploration of Japanese work culture, society, and the fear of the unknown, all wrapped in an incredibly gripping film.” Read Robert’s review in full here.
