We all love a ‘who dunnit?’  throw in a little spice, mystery and Emily Blunt thinking she’s going paranoid , she can’t help anybody, but is it all a fantasy? In the second UK trailer for The Girl On The Train  we get a closer look at Emily Blunt descends into depression, deep emotions possibly paranoia.(Please beware this is an ‘R-rated’ trailer be careful where you watch this!)…

Some of us may seek ‘perfect lives’ and believe our neighbours or strangers on the streets are the ’embodiment of true love’ .If you enjoyed Gone Girl , The Girl On The Train will be right up your alley, a big slice of Fatal Attraction as Rear Window  arrives in 21st Century.

Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Justin Theroux, Haley Bennett, Luke Evans, Edgar Ramirez and Allison Janney star in The Girl on the Train, from director Tate Taylor (The Help, Get on Up) and producer Marc Platt (Bridge of Spies, Into the Woods). In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasising about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

Based on Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel, The Girl on the Train is adapted for the screen by Erin Cressida Wilson and Taylor. The film’s executive producers are Jared LeBoff and Celia Costas, and it will be released by Entertainment One in the UK.

Steamy erotic thrillers where a thing of the 80’s and 90’s but gradually the sub-genre has been creeping slowly back into film, thanks to better writers and directors. Hopefully this one will find it’s own path and success deliver something deliriously dark, stylish, suspenseful most of all entertaining!

The Girl On The Train will arrive in UK&Irish Cinemas from 7th October.
