David Lowery’s Peter Pan & Wendy Trailer Takes Us Back To Neverland

The Green Knight director David Lowery will once again give us a chance to ‘not grow up’ with Peter Pan & Wendy. The film will arrive exclusively on Disney Plus, tonight we get a look at the official first Trailer, that will ship us back to Neverland!

Lowery‘s other films might be more on the ‘grown up’ side of things (A Ghost Story, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints). He is no stranger to the House Of Mouse films, when he gave Pete’s Dragon a live action adaptation in 2016. This is off course another reimagining of the classic JM Barrie‘s Boy who could fly story, Peter Pan. This looks a starker, grittier version and we’ve had several versions and could potentially be the best of the bunch.

Peter Pan is the boy who also wouldn’t grow up. Based on 1953 book which Wendy and her brothers are transported to the magical world of Neverland. They meet Peter Pan and take on the evil pirate Hook.

A Disney+ Original movie, “Peter Pan & Wendy” is a live-action reimagining of the J.M. Barrie novel andthe 1953 animated classic, streaming 2023, only on Disney+. Directed by David Lowery (“The Green Knight,” “Pete’s Dragon”), the film introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.

The film stars Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan. Peter Pan & Wendy will stream exclusively on Disney Plus from 28th April.
