It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year (April 2015) since Daredevil Season 1  premiered on Netflix , even better news Daredevil Season 2 is nearly here! Today Netflix announce season 2 has a official date release and to celebrate that release we have a trailer as our blind assassin is ‘Punished’ by none other Frank Castle…The Punisher!

Whilst the trailer doesn’t show proper footage of our hero in action , it gives The Punisher what now looks a proper introduction to anti-hero on the screen (small and big screen). Former The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal plays Castle and on early evidence if this promo the demons of days gone by thanks to Dolph Lundgren, Ray Stevenson and Thomas Jane might be truly exorcised. Of all the Marvel Universe The Punisher was one of the characters some believed deserved a proper (4th) Second bit at the cherry, some argue about Cinema but thanks to the the uprise of internet television channels of Netflix he may have found his proper home.

After our recent post on Daredevil Season 2 images there was a rumour that the new season was going to premier the same day at Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice feature film. However Netflix have laid rest to those rumours announcing the season will launch worldwide on 18th March (0001hrs).

The trailer itself does play a similar pattern to Batman Vs Superman film portraying our heroes as opposites, giving no hint eventually both will aide each other. The anticipation levels have rocketed that series are giving The Punisher his proper introduction the the world but he is not the only new character on show here, Elektra makes her debut too played by Humans star Elodie Young. The overall trailer is like a recap of season one before a church finds itself decorated by a sea of Bullets. Is the Styling a leaf of Dark Knight?

Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Starring Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Matt Gerald, Jon Bernthal, Rosario Dawson, Elodie Yung, Scott Glen, and Stephen Rider, Daredevil Season 2 arrive on Netflix 18th March.
