Internet is wonderful place to learn, be entertained and in our current climate a place to connect with our loved ones, it does have it’s darkside. Vertigo Releasing have released theย UK Trailer for upcoming indie thrillerย PVT Chat, Julia Fox is a Cam Girl whose life is in danger from a Stalker.
The film played last year’s Fantasia Fest and is nowย ready to be released online. A film that promises tackle exploitation and abuseย online and the Cam girl experience. But also how we connect online and examining howย someone can know everything about you, leading to dangerous obsessions.
Peter Vack stars as Jack a New Yorkย based gambling loner , who uses a Camgirl website which Scarlett (Fox) is one of the girls on the site. Jack becomes fixated with Scarlett and fantasy becomes reality when the pair cross paths in the city’s Chinatown.

Jack (Peter Vack) is a lonely internet gambler living in New York City. He quickly becomes ๏ฌxated on Scarlet (Julia Fox) – a cam girl from San Francisco. As Jack learns more about Scarlet, he discovers her unrealized talent as a painter and begins to fall hard for her. His obsession reaches a boiling point when fantasy materializes in reality, and Jack sees Scarlet on a rainy street in NYC Chinatown. While Scarlet is clearly hiding her whole truth, milking Jackโs wallet in the process, she also seems to develop genuine feelings for him. Jack has to ๏ฌnd out – is their emotional connection real or is he just being taken for a ride?
The film also stars Peter Vack, Buddy Duress, Keith Poulson, Kevin Moccia, and David J. White.
PVT Chat will be released in the UK and Ireland from 12th February on all Digital Platforms.
