Cumberbatch Takes Shower In Deleted Star Trek Into Darkness Scene

2 weeks after it’s release the controversy of a scene of Carol Marcus played by British actress Alice Eve in Star Trek Into Darkness still rages on. The scene in which she strips down to her underwear, a scene which was no relevance to the film and recently on American talk show Conan director JJ Abrams was a guest gives his take on the whole scenario.
In the interview he says the reason for using the scene as a moment of frivolity  to an action scene which this contentious part was in and balancing things as earlier in the film Kirk (Chris Pine) was half naked with 2 Alien beauties. If you see Eve and Pine both could be construed as ‘eye candy’ however the scene in question in both cases is actually disrespectful towards women. It will be a debate which will plague the film’s promotion probably right into it’s home release.
In an effort to balance things on the Conan show JJ Abrams screened a short deleted seen which saw John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch) having a show, a scene which the director hopes balance things. Whatever you think if people don’t like something sometimes by the time you try to amend things the damage might be irreversible.
