Claire Foy Calls For Help In New Unsane Clip

Unsane (2018)

Steven Soderbergh‘s return to the director’s chair ended up being a more low key but still successful return with Logan Lucky. With another TV Show upcoming (Mosiac), next month he does have an iPhone created horror called Unsane being released.

Starring Claire Foy (The Crown, Breathe) as a young woman who involuntary commits herself to a mental institution. Whilst here she must face her greatest fears, but is she simply delusional?

20th Century Fox has sent us a clip from the movie called ‘Phone Call‘. In this clip, our lead actress aptly named Sawyer Valentini makes a call. But who is she calling and is it her way for a cry for help?

On paper, we’re being sold a psychological thriller but we think there’s more than meet the eye going on here. Maybe this is why Soderbergh has adopted the iPhone cinematography, something Sean Barker did for Tangerine. Gives this movie an extra slice of mystery, eerie tone which gets us excited about this movie!

A young woman leaves her hometown to escape a troubled past and begin a new job. But when she is involuntarily committed to a mental institution she is confronted by her greatest fear โ€” but is it real or just her delusion? With seemingly no-one ready to believe her and the authorities unable or unwilling to help, she must confront her fears head on. With twisting perspectives and a shocking narrative, Unsane asks questions about our perception of reality, our survival instinct and the system that is supposed to take care of us.
