Chloë Grace Moretz Is A ‘Mum’ On The Run In Mother/Android Trailer

That darn robot apocalypse is playing up again in Matt Tomlin‘s sci-fi thriller Mother/Android. Today Hulu take us into that apocalypse  with the official Trailer ,starring Chloë Grace Moretz as a (soon to be) mum on the run from the android uprising.

A pregnant woman fighting back against the machines as well as about to give birth to a son, sounds very familiar. It’s not always about the originality, its sometime the delivery. In this film that’s produced by Matt Reeves (The Batman) she may not be raising an army to fightback just a place to give birth in safety.

Moretz is Georgia with her boyfriend (Algee Smith) find themselves caught in the middle of artificial intelligence uprising. Georgia is days away from birth and she must navigate the dangerous road to safety to give birth.

The film is hoping to give a spin on the survival tale during the apocalypse, how they approach the machines against the humans will be curious. Could it be more a ‘war Of The Worlds’ approach than Terminator or even ex-Machina? Looks an interesting film plenty of tense moments in store.

A young woman (Moretz) and her boyfriend (Algee Smith) go on a treacherous journey of escape as their country is caught in an unexpected war with artificial intelligence. Days away from the arrival of their first child, they must cross a stronghold of the android uprising, in hopes of reaching safety before giving birth.

Mother/Android will be released by Hulu in the USA 17th December. However here in the UK and Ireland we don’t have Hulu, it could be released here on Disney+ but no details have been released yet.
