It’s one of the largest ย fault lines ย in the world and now a monster earthquake is about to kick off , it’s time to be rescued by one of the largest sports entertainment stars in the world Dwayne Johnson, can you smell what the Rock is shakin’ in the first trailer for San Andreas?

He’s faced some mighty wrestling foes but now The Rock must face the San Andreas ย earthquake of magnitude 9 that may need more than the people’s elbow to rescue us!

Starring as a talent helicopter rescue pilot (Johnson) who embarks on a rescue mission to rescue his estranged wife (Carla Guigino) and only daughter (Alexandra Daddario) but as the clock ticks it seems the worst of his troubles may not yet be over.

This is one for those who enjoy their films 100% cheesefest and goofy. It won’t win Oscar winning plaudits but give you an excuse to leave your brain at the box office for a couple of hours. Brad Peyton (whom the Rock worked with a Journey 2) looks to have created his homage to Roland Emmerich ย or disaster movies especially 1974’s Earthquake. It’s not all destruction the trailer suggests this one may provide something a little more than the average mindless popcorn flick.
