Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx reunite In Back In Action Trailer

10 years after Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx worked together on Annie, they reunite for Back In Action. Today Netflix tease us with a new trailer for the action comedy as the pair play parents with a big secret… their spies!!!

Annie remake was Diaz last ever film as the nefarious Miss Hannigan and Foxx was Will Stacks. The reasons why the actress went on a decade long sabbatical we don’t know, now she’s back does this any good? Not really.

Back In Action is directed by Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon, the plot is like many MANY films we’ve seen before. Diaz and Foxx are former CIA agents who have a created a family nest who are dragged back into their old lives. When someone revealed their secret identities pushing them back into the game.

It’s great to see Jamie Foxx acting once again after his recent health scares. He was partly responsible for convincing Diaz to act again, promising a ‘fun film project’ . Just a shame this look generic and forgettable.

Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.

The film also stars Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, Glenn Close. Back In Action will be streaming globally on Netflix from 17th January 2025.
