Brillant Full Trailer For Ryan Reynolds In BURIED
Source Yahoo Movies
it’s the early hours of the morning Comic-Con is about to kick-off and Lionsgate unleash a cracker of trailer for Ryan Reynolds in BURIED.
The movie was previewed away back in January at Sundance Festival and within minutes of the movie finishing the battle commenced to sign this little treasure it went down a storm with those lucky to see it, so whats it all about? Reynolds plays a contractor who is kidnapped and wakens up inside a coffin six foot under with only a mobile and a lighter for company and no idea where he is and why he is here.
This is looking like one of Reynold’s best performances and he may get a little recognition for his efforts showing he’s more than the love interest in a chick flick or even a superhero in red or green lycra. Obviously the movie is set underground in a coffin so Lionsgate dont want to give too much away and they’ve created a well made trailer which follows the style of the second Social Network teaser in showing more graphic and voiceovers from the actors, but this goes a little more creative. This trailer teases you with giving you little snippets built over some great music as well as graphics it builds into a tense emotional buildup even old Hitchcock would have been proud off.
The movie is due out October 8th (USA), I dont have the UK release date yet but I last heard it could be the same day(ill update later), the movie is directed by Rodrigo Cortés with Robert Paterson, José Luis García Pérez, Stephen Tobolowsky, Samantha Mathis, Warner Loughlin, Ivana Miño, Erik Palladino co-starring.
Update: Found out of Blogomatic 3000 that Icon are releasing the movie in UK& Ireland on October 1st
synopsis:Paul is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap
