Bradley Cooper Is Confirmed As Guardians Of The Galaxy Rocket Racoon,

As one summer fades into the history books the next one early eyes briefly look at one of its epic blockbusters and it looks like it has a new cast member, The Guardians Of The Galaxy Bradley Cooper. Who is playing Rocket Racoon!

Since it’s confirmation rumours are been flying from every corner who will play who and since Comic Con the rumours have intensified the past week that The Hangover star was to join the cast as the genetically modified critter.

Now that the film has found it’s voice who is Rocket Racoon? Rocket is a genetically modified racoon or to be more technical  a anthropomorphised raccoon who happens to be a master tactician but most of all expert marksman. He was regarded as a “Guardian of the Keystone Quadrant” and a friend of Star Lord  aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) who invites his to join the Guardians Of The Galaxy, he joins Vin Diesel  who also joined recently as Groot the character in the comics Rocket asks to join the Guardians.

Apart from the mighty impressive cast and whom they will be playing/voicing the Guardian Of The Galaxy official synopsis is still under wraps but hopefully soon  that wil be revealed as filming is due to start early next year. Marvel president Kevin Feige  via Empire has however put one piece of gossip to rest that this film is not Marvel’s ‘Star Wars’  –  “We’re not making this to make Marvel’s Star Wars,” he told Empire. “We’re doing this to explore the other side of the existing Marvel Universe.

– The fact that Peter Quill is a human from our time, that he carries a personal cassette recorder with him, already it’s very different. It’s not a long, time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it’s now in a galaxy far, far away.”

The news of Cooper addition to the cast will mean he will re-unite with his former ex Zoe Saldana who is voicing Gamora, the deadliest female assassin of the galaxy. Things maybe a little uncomfortable at the beginning however both actors have moved on personally and professionally things should be fine. Bradley Cooper joins Dave Bautista, Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Michael Rooker, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Gregg Henry, Ophelia Lovibond.

So has Marvel found the ideal actor to voice one of their most popular animated characters?
