Pitt once again works with David Ayer which the two worked together on World War 2 tank thriller Fury. No matter how much training you may have had in certain terrains to survive it could still cost you your life. In Heart Of The Beast our leading man plays a special forces officer survives an horrible plane crash with his combat dog Odin (Uber). That’s not the worst part of it as they both have a brutal fight against the elements.
Cinefiles do love that human and animal relationships especially when the animal is a dog. The Alaskan wilderness needs everyone stranded to work together (even if the film was filmed in New Zealand!). Will it just the terrain or the animals that call it home?
This film also stars J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe.
