When it comes to love anything can happen. In Billy Porter‘s Anything’s Possible male, female, Transgender and Prime Video release the Official Trailer as boy meets Trans girl.
Porter will always be known for his work in the likes of Pose and American Horror Story, now he makes his directorial debut. The story was written by Ximena García Lecuona (who is also making their debut) starring Eva Reign in her first leading role along side Abubakr Ali. She play’s Kelsa a high school trans girl who is full of confidence. Someone in her class Khal has a crush on her and he decides to ask Kelsa out, despite knowing the drama that will follow.
Don’t expect everything to be like a fairy tale, as the trailer suggests it will confront the issues trans people face in their daily lives. It does say it will also celebrate transition….
Anything’s Possible is a delightfully modern Gen Z coming-of-age story that follows Kelsa, a confident high school girl who is trans, as she navigates through senior year. When her classmate Khal gets a crush on her, he musters up the courage to ask her out, despite the drama he knows it could cause. What transpires is a romance that showcases the joy, tenderness, and pain of young love.
The film also stars Renée Elise Goldsberry, Courtnee Carter, Kelly Lamor Wilson, Grant Reynolds, Caroline Travers, and Lav Raman.
Anything’s Possible will exclusively launch globally on 22nd July on Prime Video.
