Boardwalk Empire Series 2

To celebrate the release of Boardwalk Empire Series 2 on DVD and Blu-ray HBO held a party in a barber shop. While it sounds like an odd location, 1920s hairstyles were offered as well as old fashioned straight razor shaving. Not only was the styling in the fashion of the 20s but so was the entertainment; blackjack, burlesque dancing were all washed down with champagne and whisky cocktails.

It was quite an event and a worthy one for such a great show. I do wish I lived in the 20s; the style, the music, even the hats were wonderful. Aside from this energetic event the best way to try and relive that time is through watching the next series of Boardwalk Empire. A show I thoroughly recommend.

Boardwalk Empire Series 2 is out on DVD and Blu-ray on the 3rd of September.
