Marvel Universe’s First Family have finally arrived in the MCU. Blast off! and watch the First Trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Since Marvel revealed their plans for Fantastic Four at Comic-Con last year, this film has excited fans the most. Now today we get a glimpse into the world we can expect when the film arrives in the Summer.

We’ve had the ‘contemporary’ version, which we know those film versions were BAD. It was a logical move for Marvel to go back to the decade our heroes made their debut, the 1960’s. Our heroes are played by Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) plus Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm / The Thing). Word is we might even get a cameo in a post-credits scene from Robert Downey Jnr as Doctor Doom…

Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman. Which our first family live in a retro-futuristic alternate reality (reason why they are not in current MCU timeline). They find themselves up against the mighty Galactus (Ralph Ineson) save humanity from destruction.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

The rest of the cast for this one includes Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles.

Fantastic Four: First Steps will be in cinemas on  25th July.
