Black Adam Still Sits On The Official Film Chart Throne

Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam

It’s a second week at Number 1 for DC adventure Black Adam, still sitting strong on the official Film Chart throne.

Starring Dwayne Johnson as the eponymous character, the film leads on digital downloads for another week, with 57% of its sales this week made up of copies on the format.

Meanwhile, The Banshees of Inisherin climbs two places to a brand-new peak of Number 2 – could we be looking at a future chart-topper? Top Gun: Maverick also climbs two, finishing at Number 3 this week ahead of Elvis at Number 4.

The Menu, whose impressive cast is led by Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult, rises four to a brand-new peak in the Top 5 (5). Jurassic World: Dominion (6) rises two places, finishing ahead of Halloween Ends (7) which tumbles 5, and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (8).

Demonic horror Prey For The Devil (9) enters the Top 10 for the first time after climbing four places. In the film, a nun (Jacqueline Byers) believes she is answering a call to become an exorcist; as she battles to save the soul of a young girl, she discovers mysterious ties to her own past.

Finally, rounding off the countdown is family favourite Sing 2 which rebounds back up to Number 10.

Once again there is no video magazine run down. We have been informed a new format is being created and will be introduced in a future episode.
