Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett & More Join ‘The Death Of Robin Hood’

Bill Skarsgård (Nosferatu), Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus), and Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) have just been announced to be joining the cast of the upcoming The Death of Robin Hood

The three actors will join the previously announced Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer. The project is set to begin filming in Ireland this week.

The Death of Robin Hood comes from writer-director Michael Sarnoski. Sarnoski is best known for writing and directing Pig starring Nicholas Cage and A Quiet Place: Day One which featured Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.

The film’s plot is described as following Robin Hood, a “battle-worn loner, grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, who finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman, who offers him a chance at salvation”.

Bill Skarsgård recent’s roles include Count Orlok in Nosferatu and Eric Draven in The Crow reboot. Skarsgård will next be seen in Locked alongside Anthony Hopkins. Bartlett is best know for his TV work. His role as Armond in HBO’s The White Lotus, won him a best supporting actor Emmy in 2022. Jupe meanwhile, has appeared in both A Quiet Place and its sequel A Quiet Place Part II. However, at the time of writing their roles in The Death of Robin Hood remain a mystery. No character descriptions have been released at this time.

The Death of Robin Hood will be fully financed by Lyrical Media. It will be distributed by A24 in the US and True Brit Entertainment in the UK and Ireland. WME Independent is representing international rights.
