THE_BANISHING

It’s England’s most haunted home  and  today Shudder have released a new Trailer for The Banishing, vengeful spirits await to tear apart it’s new residents.

The film is  the latest film from Christopher Smith (Creep, Severance, Triangle) and  starring Jessica Brown Findlay . The film set in 1930’s England and we  follows a young reverend and his wife (Brown-Findlay) and daughter move into a manor which has an  horrifying secret. When a vengeful spirit haunts the little girl and threatens to tear the family apart, the reverend and his wife are forced to confront their beliefs. They must turn to black magic by seeking the help of a famous Occultist…or risk losing their daughter.

This actually looks really good, potentially has a few jump scares  which fall into those old school horror tropes. Most of all it’s Smith’s return to horror…
