Baz Luhrmann’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert Gets A Trailer
You’ll be all shook up in February huh huh
In 2022 Baz Luhrmann gave us Elvis which made Austin Butler big star in the title role. Now the Aussie filmmaker has another Elvis film, EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert. Tonight Universal Pictures tease us with the film’s first trailer…huh huh thank you very much.
As with many of the legends of music, including The Beatles, David Bowie and Elvis, we’ve probably seen everything about them especially if you’re a big fan. Luhrmann promises his film will showcase footage that’s never been seen before in any film. How did he get it?
Whilst making Elvis, Luhrmann came across the long lost footage from the legendary singer’s Las Vegas Residency. In 16mm film footage on tour and the ultra rare 8mm from Graceland archive which the legend tells his side of the story.
“In 1969, Elvis returned to the stage to begin a legendary residency in Las Vegas,” interspersed with video. “For 40 years, there have been rumours of lost footage … It was found.”

Baz Luhrman’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert will arrive first in IMAX cinemas from 20th February. Then on 27th February the film will be in cinemas globally.
