Battle The Addiction In First Trailer For Smashed Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead

It surprised many people at this year’s Sundance Festival leaving the festival with some terrific reviews and now the indie dramedy Smashed has it’s official first trailer.Starring Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) as married couple Kate& Charlie who are brought closer together thanks to alcohol , they party hard, drink hard. There out virtually every night however Kate is an teacher and she wants to dry out become sober but things are not made easy thanks to her relationship with her mother (Mary Kay Place) who just happens to be booze happy too.
They always say the good actors eventually shine through and Smashed is been called Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s career best, her breakthrough performance which could potentially attract her an Oscar nod too. Though the trailer just scrapes the top of the barrell Smashed really goes for it on addictions with the extra spice of Charlie also been a Meth addict going all out to show the struggle.
No word on the UK&Irish release date just yet but American cinephiles can catch this one on October 12th. Smashed also stars Octavia Spencer, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally
