Buffalo Kids animated kids awaited a great adventure

Warner Bros.  have released the UK Trailer for animated family adventure Buffalo Kids.

The voice cast includes Alisha Weir (Abigail), Conor Macneill(The Tourist), Gemma Arterton, Stephen Graham and Sean Bean. The film comes from Spanish animated filmmakers Pedro Solis and Juan Jesús García Galoch who gave us Mummies.

Buffalo Kids is all about Irish siblings Mary (Weir) and Tom (Macneill). Orphans who have been sent to USA via New York on a ship in 1886 who miss the ‘orphan Train’. Sending them on a wild dangerous journey across the U.S, an extraordinary journey will change thanks to a ‘new friend’.

Mary (Weir) and Tom (Macneill) are parentless Irish siblings who arrive in New York City via ocean liner in 1886 and quickly find themselves on a wild, cross-country journey aboard a transcontinental “Orphan Train” where they meet an extraordinary new friend who will change their lives forever. Fuelled by curiosity, friendship, and teamwork, their dangerous and discovery-filled journey will introduce them to devious villains, surprising allies, unexpected heroes, and unimaginable adventures on a hilarious and heart-warming search for home.

The script is co-written by Jordi Gasull and Javier Barreira, Goya Award winners for Best Screenplay for “Tad, The Lost Explorer”.

Gasull, winner of three Goya Awards for Best Animated Film for “Tad: The Lost Explorer”, “Capture the Flag” and “Tad, The Lost Explorer, and The Secret of King Midas”, is also the film’s producer. In addition to being head of Core Animation Studio, Pedro Solis, is director of the Goya Award winning animated short film “Strings”, which served as the inspiration for “Buffalo Kids”.

The film’s music is composed by Goya Award winner Fernando Velazquez, who has frequently collaborated with acclaimed Spanish director, J.A. Bayona.

Buffalo Kids will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 11th October with previews on 5th and 6th October.
