Andy Serkis ‘Precious’ Now On Netflix Watch Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle Trailer

The Greatest Journey is Finding Where You Belong and Andy Serkis Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle has certainly been on one. After originally to be released by Warner Bros, the film’s journey seen the film arrive on Netflix’s doorstep.
Today we get a glimpse at the film’s new official Trailer. The original (Warner Bros) Trailer pushed Serkis theory, his version of Rudyard Kipling‘s classic story is darker. This new one also does that, it also suggests the film does have its lighter moments too. We see more of Mowgli’s (Rohan Chand) collaboration with the animals, do the boy actually want to be with the humans?
The streaming giants buying the rights to this kept it hush, hush. The reasons for Warner Bros selling the rights are unknown. Did they not appreciate the darker take on the story and expected the film to poorly perform at the box office? Did they simply lose faith in or were Netflix willing pay the odds to add this gem to their Netflix Originals catalogue? Whatever the reasons we do hope it’s finally found its true home!
Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis reinvents Rudyard Kipling’s beloved masterpiece, in which a boy torn between two worlds accepts his destiny and becomes a legend. Mowgli (Rohan Chand) has never truly belonged in either the wilds of the jungle or the civilized world of man. Now he must navigate the inherent dangers of each on a journey to discover where he truly belongs.
Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, Freida Pinto, Matthew Rhys and Naomie Harris lead an all-star cast along with newcomer Rohan Chand in this visually spectacular and emotionally moving adventure.
Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle will have an exclusive limited theatrical release from 29 November and launch globally on Netflix from 7 December.
