Summit Entertainment have released the first offical Trailer for THE THREE MUSKATEERS the modern retelling of the classic French adventure and guess what its in unglorious 3D! I’ve had to watch this several times to convince myself this is The Three Muskateers I was watching a film adaptation of the classic Alexandre Dumas père book plenty of coutisans, sword fights, damsels in distress but this is a Paul WS Anderson movie, the man who brought us Resident Evil and Alien Vs Predators, so this wont be any ordinary reboot but one with explosive action, flying balloons, machines guns and off course 3D(just surprised wasnt as used by James Cameron in Avatar inthe trailer!) Guess what Mrs WS Anderson is in it Milia Jovovich so expect a few Resident Evil action moves in this , you actually see one in this trailer. I really did like the idea of bringing in a few items like the balloons, guns giving the movie a slight fantasy edge but seriously you can only approach this movie with much sarcasism as taking this movie seriously will be hard, its a fun cheesy No brainer that looking a tad OTT….Yippee Kai Yea Cardinal Richelieu!!
THE THREE MUSKATEERS will be with us 14th October and stars Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Orlando Bloom, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen, Mads Mikkelsen, Milla Jovovich.
The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’ story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D.
