All About The Singing In Extended Featurette For Les Miserables

I Dreamed A dream might be the song that made Subo aka Susan Boyle a household name worldwide but many people don’t realise it’s also from one of London West End’s longest running shows Les Miserables. This January the musical based on Victor Hugo novel will be coming to the big screen for its Hollywood adaptation and with Tom Hooper (Kings Speech) behind the camera it will be one of 2013’s much anticipated films to see. Since its teaser trailer away back in May we haven’t heard much or seen much footage from the film until tonight with a fantastic new 5 minute featurette which shows off new footage. The video delves into the emotions of signing live and when you look at the cast with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway there not stars renowned for signing so this featurette they share their emotions, thoughts.This musical is full of emotion loved by fans worldwide however the intensity of the stage singers which is no match to the cast so its nice to see the cast taking the songs at their own pace.
It does look like it will work but will the hardcore fans find the emotion connection with the film version? All will be revealed on January 11th, 2013 in UK&Ireland or December 25th in USA. Les Miserables also stars Russell Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Isabelle Allen.
