There’s a feeling of irony here after last month’s tragic events in USA when a Zoo Owner in similar circumstances but this owner but  killed his animals then himself. Now Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo thankfully is a more cheerful family friendly affair starring Matt Damon as a father who moves with his family out to the country from the city and buys a zoo that’s struggling. Damon’s character is based on true life person Benjamin Mee who wrote the book the film is based on. Back in September we brought you the first trailer and tonight we have a new international trailer which is similar to the first trailer however the second half we see some new footage giving us a little bit more insight into the characters.

This was originally scheduled for a December 23rd UK&Irish release but thats now changed to March 23rd 2012. We Bought A Zoo also stars Scarlett Johansson, Elle FanningPatrick FugitStephanie SzostakMaggie Elizabeth Jones and Thomas Haden Church

This holiday season, acclaimed filmmaker Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous) directs an amazing and true story about a single dad who decides his family needs a fresh start, so he and his two children move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of an eclectic staff, and with many misadventures along the way, the family works to return the dilapidated zoo to its former wonder and glory.
