One thing I hate about this time of the year apart from the last chance of ever witnessing some summer sun is that autumn starts and the shops start to sell there christmas memrobilla* and the first glimpses of the christmas movies appear and today the 2nd Trailer for Walt Disney’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

An animated or  performance capture adaption of the Classic Charles Dickens story brought to you by the man who gave us Forrest Gump ans the classic Back To The Future movies, Robert Zemeckis and the trailer states:

“a multi-sensory thrill ride re-envisioned by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis,”

bringing the essence of the classic story into the 21st century with the popular 3-D Imax motion picture, Im still a little mixed on 3-D though Animation is a genre that would work with the technology. Do expect the same story of Ebeneezer Scrooge with the movie starting on Christmas Eve and Scrooge spreading his usual  miserable christmas spirit (Scrooge palyed by madman Jim Carey also plays the 3 ghosts) ripping his faithful clerk Bob Cratchitt (Gary Oldman also plays tiny tim and marley). During the night he is visited by 3 ghosts who take him on a journey and show him the past, present and future and Scrooge must open his heart up to change his ill fated future.

Movie will be with us on November 6th, I think it will do well as its a traditional christmas story and the old classic is will it last upto to christmas and even further? There is also a short trailer which focuses on Jim Carey, Enjoy both trailers and pleave your thoughts in the comments box as well.
