A Big Hello To Bejan In Cuban Fury Production Blog No.6

It’s a new week, it’s Monday and it’s time for another glittering production video blog from upcoming  UK Salsa dance comedy Cuban Fury. For Vlog entry number 6 we meet Bejan better known to me and you as Keyvan Novak aka Channel 4’s  Fonejacker/Facejacker. He plays Bejan who is Bruce Garrett’s (Nick Frost) spiritual advisor essentially the man who helped bruce become that Salsa sensation Cuban Fury. If you know Novak’s merry bunch of absurd characters you can see Bejan fits perfectly into that world , he sound a total screwball bringing an different level of humour to the film. It’s not the first time he’s appeared on the big screen as he’s appeared alongside George Clooney in Syriana but his most memorable is his role in Chirs Morris underrated Four Lions.

Beneath Bruce Garrett’s shabby, overweight exterior, the passionate beating heart of a salsa king lays dormant.  Only one woman can reignite his Latin fire. Spotlight hits, sweat drips, heels click – Nick Frost IS Cuban Fury.

Cuban Fury also stars Rashida Jones, Chris O’Dowd, Olivia Colman, Ian McShane and is directed by James Griffiths. The film will be dancing into UK&Irish cinemas 22nd March 2013.
