Summer will soon be knocking on the door which means, warmer climates and Stranger Things! After a long cold winter wait Netflix has released the first Trailer for upcoming Season 3.
If the wait was painful this promo will ease the pain as it’s nearly time to reunite with the gang back in Hawkins, Indiana. What we know its Summer of 1985, school is out the town’s pool is opened. The kids are growing up and the monsters are getting weirder and its going to be one summer things are going to change!
One Summer Can Change Everything.School is out, pool is open. Welcome to summer of ‘85 in Hawkins.
Just like the previous seasons, something very strange is happening in Hawkins. After the Twitter tease of the rats running away from something (or towards), our curiousities of what’s coming are at 200%. We know whatever comes out of The Upside
We first meet the gang Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink) and Will (Noah Schnapp) all reunited playing a trick on Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo)…It’s his birthday!
Each season captures the year/decade perfectly and The Duffer Brothers will go to town with what was hot (or not) in 1985. The music is one big pool and The Who’s Baba O’Riley that may not be a song of the year of the show but captures the Summer Feeling. There will be a few power ballads ,including Mötley Crüe, The Clash, to name a few.
“We’re not kids anymore. I mean what did you think, we’re just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?”
There’s not a lot known about Season 3 plot details apart from the little tidbits we picked up from the Episode announcements. The town now has a corrupt mayor who pushes through a new Shopping mall to be built. It seems a lot of the episodes may set around that Mall.
Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, and Cara Buono reprise their roles. They will be joined by some new faces of Maya Hawke, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, and Francesca Reale.
Stranger Things 3 launches globally on July 4, only on Netflix.
