In the new dark comedy, Blindspotting, a parolee named Collin Hodgkins (Daveed Diggs) is struggling to finish the last three days of his probation, especially with his short-tempered best friend Miles (Rafael Casal) always getting him into trouble. After the traumatic experience of witnessing a police shooting, Collin and Miles’ friendship is put to the test. Blindspotting hits cinemas next Friday (5th October) and with this buddy duo soon to be on big screens, we’re looking at some iconic buddy teams in film.

VINCENT AND JULES – PULP FICTION (1994)
Suit-wearing, hitman duo carries out criminal tasks for their boss
Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar winning film features two cool-as-cucumber hitmen, Vincent (John Travolta) and Jules (Samuel L. Jackson), under the employ of gangster Marsellus Wallace. The pair finish off random and graphic jobs as four intertwining tales of violence and redemption implode around them.

The hilarious duo Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are offered the opportunity to prove themselves as cops when they join the secret Jump Street unit. Here, they’re assigned a mission to pose as high schoolers to bring down a synthetic drug ring and while they think being a teenager again might be easy, they’re forced to confront the uncomfortable and awkward teenage moments. They’ll need each other to get through high school all over again.
