Ant-Man And The Wasp First Trailer Lang Has A New Partner In ‘Crime’

Marvel Studios has been keeping the much anticipated Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man And The Wasp under the radar for a while. Finally today they revealed the first official UK Trailer Scott Lang has a new partner in ‘crime’, The Wasp.

It’s no hidden secret that Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) was going to team-up. The movie follows after the events of Captain America: Civil War with Lang still on Probation. It seems the pair go on the run as they attempt to enter the ‘Quantum Realm’.

Don’t expect big reveals in this Trailer, it’s simply a teaser but it’s still one with a lot of fun. We get a glimpse at the humour we loved from the first movie as well as the action.Could the director be trying for a ‘buddy’ type movie? Hard to say at this stage but do expect a lot of new characters as well as some new ones. The one thing we don’t see in this trailer is Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), Hope’s Mum and the original Wasp. Is she really dead or will Lang and hope attempt to find her?

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: Ant-Man and The Wasp. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man And The Wasp will be landing in the UK and Irish cinemas from the 3rd August. Co-starring Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Hannah John Kamen, and Laurence Fishburne.
