Unforgettable Revenge Moments

FATAL ATTRACTION
Because you can’t bring up vengeance without the brilliant adage ‘bunny boiler,’ we start with a look at the successful 1987 drama Fatal Attraction. The film sees family man Dan (Michael Douglas), harassed by his one-night-stand Alex (Glenn Close) who insists on continuing the relationship. The love-struck, Alex’s terrorism of Dan includes killing his daughter’s rabbit and boiling it in their stove. There’s close and then there’s Glenn Close.
MEAN GIRLS
Cady Heron has been home schooled her whole life (having lived in Africa for most of it) however when she starts High School she realises that ‘girl world’ is a whole lot scarier than the ‘animal world.’ Regina George is the Queen Bee who spreads nasty rumours and steals the man that Cady fancies. So to take revenge, she teams up with dream team BFFs Janis Ian and ‘too gay to function’ Damian Leigh to take away her power, her man and her posse. “You can’t sit with us!”
KILL BILL: VOLUME 1
Kill Bill, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, stars Uma Thurman as the Bride, who swears revenge on a team of assassins and their leader Bill (David Carradine) after they try to murder her and her unborn child. After waking up from a four-year coma, the Bride sets off in the ‘Pussy Wagon’ to initiate her killing spree of a one-eyed woman with a black mamba snake, a leader of the Tokyo crime world and has a unique kitchen fight scene featuring cereal.
JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE
After basketball star and serial dater John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) is caught cheating on three popular students from different cliques, they decide to band together to end John’s reign of being the school player. Enlisting the help of the new girl Kate (Brittany Snow), the four of them scheme together to break John’s heart and destroy his reputation in the process.
THE OTHER WOMAN
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, so there was no chance for serial adulterer when he cheated on ‘the wife’ (Leslie Mann) with both ‘the lawyer’ (Cameron Diaz) and ‘the boobs’ (Kate Upton). Because as Diaz’s, Carly, eloquently put it, “When you put the lawyer, the wife, and the boobs together, you have the perfect killing machine.”
UNFORGETTABLE
Unforgettable sees Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson go head to head in this sensational thriller about jealousy and a crazed ex-wife. Ex-wife Tessa (Heigl) is unstable and barely coping with the end of her marriage to David (Geoff Stults), despite his new engagement to Julia (Dawson).
Jealous of their relationship, Tessa goes to extremes, determined to sabotage Julia. Unforgettable is filled with wild revenge plots you won’t be able to forget.
