Marvel’s The Defenders ‘Assemble’ In New Featurette

In 3 days time, the next Marvel Entertainment collaboration The Defenders will be released on Netflix. Ahead of the series, the streaming giants have released a new featurette It’s all coming together. Learn about The Defenders from the stars themselves: Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and Finn Jones. Learn how those ‘defenders’ of Hell’s Kitchen came together …

The first reviews for this show are slowly creeping online and they are positive. Iron Fist the last Netflix’s Marvel shows delivered more negative critical response than positive and these new reviews say this new show is better. The one problem that’s been in the last few shows is the pace and how all sides come together, so how many episodes will it takes for our protagonists get together? If they don’t fall into the same trap as the previous shows things might just be good!

The second trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders did slip under the radar when it was released a couple of weeks ago. The trailer you can watch it below which shows off new footage…

In Marvel’s Defenders, we follow Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realise they just might be stronger when teamed together.

Co-starring Sigourney Weaver (Alexandra), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Scott Glenn (Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse), Simone Missick (Misty Knight) and Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing).

Marvel’s Defenders will premiere exclusively globally on Netflix from 18th August.
