When it comes to YA Novels becoming feature films it’s a risky gamble however the latest adaptation from the pen of John Green Paper Towns Hints something special. Last year’s Fault In Our Stars surprised many critics in the new second UK trailer this may continue the momentum delivering potentially something just as quirky and fun.
The new second trailer does showcase alot of the footage seen in the first trailer, though there is enough new footage in there too. What you will notice with this trailer is the film’s tone which does show the film will have the rom-com elements but hints something a little unexpected for the genre. Director Jake Schreier (Robot and Frank)is directing which intrigues me, possibly making this a little more accessible to a wider audience.
PAPER TOWNS is a coming-of-age story centring on Quentin and his enigmatic neighbour Margo, who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears–leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship–and true love.
In an extra video we have an fun behind the scenes clip which have the film’s lead actors Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne fooling around at a recent photo shoot. Also featured is their good friend and author of the original novel, John Green .
